It was Jan YR3,
Randomers (12:27) were looking for their second war under the tag of "Lameboat". The first few kingdoms they waved immediately offered ceasefires before
Unknown (11:23) retalling the plunders that
Randomers had sent their way. The kingdom set ups made for an immediately interesting conflict with the Elf warriors of
Randomers pitted against the Dwarf Rogues of
11:23. As hits were traded over the months of January and February war was finally declared as the end of February loomed:
February 21st, YR3 Unknown (11:23) has declared WAR with our kingdom!
Upon war declaration,
(11:23) had 18 provinces online, which were organised to send massacres against the elf provinces with the highest tpa/wpa. Hits were rotated with 5 hits being sent against the same province before another target received the same treatment. Upon the declaration
11:23 also sent their dragon:
February 21st, YR3 A Gold Dragon from Unknown (11:23) has begun ravaging our lands!
With the dragon sent and hits incoming,
Randomers contacted their players to get online. Once people were on, massacres were sent against those provinces in
11:23 that had the highest tpa whilst also getting their fluffy off the ground and sent over. It was also within this same hour that
Randomers managed to kill off the dragon sent by 11:23.
February 21st, YR3 A Ruby Dragon has set flight to ravage Unknown (11:23)!
February 22nd, YR3 Dunhill (12:27) has slain the dragon ravaging our lands!
The start of the war was a flurry of attacks, dragon slaying and dragon flight as
11:23 were able to kill the dragon within two hours of receiving it. However, having sent their first dragon,
Randomers had also immediately started funding another dragon. Once their first dragon had been slayed by
11:23,
Randomers immediately send another:
March 1st, YR3 A Ruby Dragon has set flight to ravage Unknown (11:23)!
After the initial hits
Randomers used those provinces with their armies still at home to trad march a select few provinces in
11:23, who in turn continued to massacre meaning that the elves in
12:27 became fat very quickly as the massacres took affect. The combination of incoming land and massacres on the provinces in
Randomers meant that
11:23 were able to focus on NS and MS/Greed runs on the elfs that had hit for land.
The one advantage that
Randomers had from the beginning of the war was the use of their gnome bank, which was used to slay the first & second dragon. The bank rather than risking opening itself up, was used to complete chains and to aid the provinces being hit the hardest. Despite the use of Quick feet that elves had, the fog of the dwarves helped to counteract this advantage, meaning that attack times for both kingdoms were very similar.
11:23 continued to massacre and also got their second dragon off the ground with
Randomers adopting a mixture of both massacres and chains against those provinces easiest to hit.
April 5th, YR3 A Ruby Dragon from Unknown (11:23) has begun ravaging our lands!
April 13th, YR3 Dunhill (12:27) has slain the dragon ravaging our lands!
War continued with heavy massacres from both sides, with a mix of trad marches by the chained dwarves in
11:23 and razes by the big elves in
Randomers. Realising that many of their players are land fat with weakening thievery/ magic capability,
Randomers switched back to massacres, while ordering their biggies to pump defense to outgrow any lingering threats to them, as they were the ones that had also sacrificed their def specs to help kill of the dragons. It was also at this stage,
Randomers got their third dragon sent:
July 22nd, YR3 Randomers's Ruby Dragon has set flight to ravage Unknown (11:23)!
The ability to kill and send dragons effectively due to the gnome bank, combined with the fact that eight provinces were able to pump enough defense to outgrow the attackers of
11:23 meant that
Randomers were able to put increased pressure and number of massacres on those dwarves with high tpa. It was a battle of
Randomers ability to massacre the dwarves effectively against the NS runs that the dwarves were still able to do against their attackers. This translated itself into a basic form of protection as the NS was able to whittle down the offence and defence, meaning that
Randomers were forced to send out less that they wished, with pressure high on those provinces massacred the most from NS. With the falling nw/acre ratio of the massacred and NSd provinces,
Randomers decided to have their large province intra raze those that had been hit the hardest. The initiative pulled off with several provinces intra-razed down to below 400aces, enabling the kingdom to surpass
11:23 in Network/acre ratio. Soon, it became clear that
11:23 were more land fat, with the networth of the kingdoms widening each day. Roughly 12 days into the war,
11:23 changed to max gains and chains against the most heavily massacred elves in
Randomers, killing a province.
July 24th, YR4 Alas, the once proud province of Coolest Job on Earth (12:27) has collapsed and lies in ruins.
With this initial success the attacks were continued against those targets but as the networth of 11:23 continued to drop they withdrew after 14 days of war.
February 20th, YR5 Unknown (11:23) has withdrawn from war. Our people rejoice at our victory!

We would like to thank 11:23 for their interest in taking up the war and we certainly learnt a lot from this war. Also, thanks to the players for their full dedication and committment to this long war.

14 days in war is too long just to get a war win. The more stubborn KD won.
